Offshore Field
Along with increasing strength of exploitation of offshore oil, more and more oil resistance cables are required. As applied environment conditions of offshore engineering cable are complicated, general materials for cable are unsuitable in this case while cable with properties to resist oil, slurry, high and low temperature, wearing, high mechanic strength, halogen-free and low smoke etc. are required. Normally worse environment and oil dirt existed in operating area around the offshore platform it is the basic technical requirement to resist oil for offshore engineering cable. Opel polymer material for cable has properties not only low smoke and halogen-free, it has also good oil resisting property.
